Job Title: Assembly - Contractor - APay rate $19.50/hr. rangeLocation: Tempe, AZZip code: 85281Start Date: ImmediateContract: 12 MonthsContract to HireTags: #AssemblyContractorAjobs; #Assemblyjobs; #Tempejobs;*Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance*Job Description:Tube Assembly operators perform day to day production activities by using most current procedures to maintain production schedules.Essential Responsibilities:* Ability to wear required PPE to fulfill shift duties: smock, hairnet, gloves, facemask, and safety glasses.* Use hand tools, spot welders, microscopes, and other manufacturing equipment to assemble products using detailed documented procedures.* Follow all policies, procedures, and drawings for accuracy and quality.* Perform visual checks of product to assure quality.* Identify non-conforming parts following documented procedures.* Meet manufacturing output requirements while producing high-quality products.* Ability to work alone and with others in a team environment under minimal supervision to accomplish department goals.* Must have strong problem solving, analytical skills, adaptability, and flexibility.* Must have good computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry, email)* Good written and verbal communication skills* Ability to read drawings/blueprints/work instructions.* Must be able to clearly read and write in English.Basic Qualifications:Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 1 to 3 years of prior manufacturing related experience.Preferred Qualifications:* Good hand/eye coordination.* Ability to lift 3-5 lbs. and complete repeat tasks.* Ability to sit for long periods of time.* High level of attention to detail.* Good historical attendance record with minimal unscheduled call offs.* Self-driven to complete goals and tasks as required.* Work 12-hour, compressed work week schedule with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
